Best Photoshop Version?

When to Go for CS3

What Version of Photoshop Is Best

I will go through some of the reasons why some Adobe Photoshop versions are better than others. This is just a short article to help you on what version of photoshop is right for you.

What Do I use?

Well first of all, I know there a some people that would like to know what version of photoshop I use. I am currently using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Why? Well because I need to get as much as possible out of the program as I can. Though this may not be what you need, and you could very well be wasting your money buying Adobe Photshop CS3, when you only need it for lets say adding a nice text effect. Adding a nice text effect could be done using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 which can be extremely cheaper than Photoshop CS3.

What Version is For you?

So, what version would be best for you? First you need to think of what you will be using photoshop for. Like I mentioned earlier, if it's something really simple like adding a text effect, and that is all you will ever use it for, your best bet is going with Photoshop 7.0 to save you a lot of money.

If you are doing a little more work than just the basic color and text effects, then you might want to think of getting something a little newer. Photoshop 7.0 would be just fine for doing a little photomanipulation with coloring and small filter effects. To make a long story short, if you are only going to use photoshop a couple times, or maybe even only one time, my suggestion is to just got with Photoshop 7.0 otherwise you could be wasting a lot of money.
